My name is Dumitrita Pacicovschi and I am studying Journalism and Mass Communication at the American University in Bulgaria. The blog you stumbled upon is my senior project. A Film Festival Guide for College Students is a project that grew out from my experience at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival in 2013.
The main focus of it is to create a multimedia how-to guide for students on how to apply to film festivals.The guide will mainly include interviews and tips from film festival programmers and will be based on: a research/experiment were 3 AUBG student documentaries will be chosen and submitted to 20 film festivals in different countries.
What I will do during the project is helping young filmmakers navigate the film festival world.
