The Second Piece of Good News

Yes, yes another one of the documentaries I’ve chosen for the experiment got into a film festival! Welcome Home, the longest short, is the one that got into the Early Bird Student Film Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria. The documentary which was directed by Floriana Ivanova and the students of the Documentary Class of the fall 2013 was screened on Nov. 10th. Other two AUBG short documentaries got into the festival, The Sounds of Bulgaria by Sofya Volkhonskaya and Painted in White: A Pomak Wedding by Rafie Drencheva. The shorts are not part of my experiment but I decided to submit them nonetheless because no good film should be put on the shelf to gather dust.
